cianalas / kʲiənəLəs / n.

(Scottish Gaelic) A deep seated sense of belonging to the place where your roots lie. Normally attributed to the Outer Hebrides. There is no sadness or melancholy in cianalas, only the realisation of what is truly important in life.

Bernard and Katherine Trafford, along with Hildy Attenborough, invite you to join them to witness and then celebrate the marriage of Rachel Rose to Benjamin Thomas in Uppingham School Chapel at 1pm on Saturday 28th December 2019 (and afterwards at the Falcon Hotel, Uppingham)
