Term will start again for us on Sunday 5th January 2020 so that just gives us time for a honeymoon getaway. After a whole day apart (and likely a bit more for Rachel) we will of course want nothing more than to enjoy lots of fresh air and lazy cuddles with Bruno and Monty, and we will be longing for our latest dose of Scottish mountains and sea lochs.

Ben is in charge of booking something so until we arrive (which will probably be around bedtime on the Sunday evening) it will remain a surprise for Rachel and the boys. But it’s probably safe to say the following highlights from our last few visits (often at New Year) to the West Coast will give you a flavour of the sort of place we are likely to be!
