The two venues are:

• Uppingham School, High Street West, Uppingham, Rutland, LE15 9QE
• Falcon Hotel, 7 High Street East, Uppingham, Rutland, LE15 9PY

There will be plenty of parking available at the School: proceed under the clock tower and immediately round to the right. This will leave space in the first, School House, quad for guests who need to park close to the Chapel.

Cars can be left in the School overnight and collected on the Sunday morning: the Falcon Hotel, in the Market Square, is just a few hundred yards from the School Chapel. The hotel does have its own car park but spaces are limited; there is also parking in the marketplace and on the High Street but you are restricted to a 1- or 2-hour stay before 6pm.

Taxis are not easy to come by in rural Rutland so, if you are not staying within walking distance, we recommend that you plan ahead (unless you won’t be drinking in which case you may of course drive!).

Assuming that not all guests will be able to check in to their accommodation before midday, we have arranged for Uppingham Taxis (a one-man operation run by the lovely Richard) to be available for short journeys between Uppingham and Lyddington and/or Belton-in-Rutland between 6:15pm and 7:15pm, and again from around 10pm to midnight.
